PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Rick Homuth joined Merrill Lynch in 1986 and is First Vice President-Investments and an International Financial Advisor. He earned his undergraduate degree in Nuclear Engineering from Southern Illinois University and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from The Nova School of Business, Miami, Florida. Rick formulates the group's long-term investment strategy and develops personalized strategic solutions to address the complex needs of individuals with substantial wealth. He also manages client portfolios within the Personal Investment Advisory program.

Brewster Ellis, who began his career with Merrill Lynch, has over 35 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to returning to Merrill Lynch in 2004, Brewster had founded, built and sold a significant financial services intermediary firm, ran an on-line brokerage firm, participated in numerous private equity and venture capital transactions as well as being a member of the Bi-State Investment Group, Kansas City's orginal angel investors. His experience in these areas has given him keen insights into a comprehensive wealth management approach working with successful people, their families and their advisors. He serves on a number of non-profit boards, including the Midwest Ear Institute and the vestry of his church. With his wife, Kathy, he created Blacktie Kansas City, an organization focused on bringing together non-profits and the people who support them. He also is an active participant in the Slow Food movement having founded and suppored an Edible Schoolyard and Junior Masters Gardener program for school children and the Wellness movement, having pioneered the concept of the Wellness clasroom and home. He lives in Loch Lloyd, MO.

John F. Barlow, Investment Associate, concentrates on the ongoing development and assessment of our investment strategy, its performance, tracking and economic conditions. John has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry and served for 15 years as CEO of a successful community bank. John attended New York University Business School and earned his BA from Yale University.

Jeanne Anderson, Senior Associate, has served clients at the firm since 1991 and has enjoyed 31 years in the financial industry. She is fully registered and insurance licensed.

Cyndi Van Cleve, Senior Associate, has served clients at the firm since 1999 and has enjoyed 15 years in the financial industry. She is fully registered.
