Akemi Bove joined the financial services industry in 1997 with her desire to help others. Her passion to help stems from her experience and the financial challenges she has watched friends, family, or herself experience in the past. As witness to the challenges faced by important people in her life, she recognized the need for a caring professional to help others’ financial priorities. Akemi’s mission, first and foremost, is to help clients pursue their personal goals, such as planning for and funding their children’s education, helping to ensure that money lasts in retirement, planning for potential health care costs, and managing the transfer of wealth to younger generations. She strives to help bring simplicity and transparency to the complexities of investing, and help turn clients’ goals into reality. Akemi is a graduate with a BA from Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan, and holds Certified Financial Advisor designation. She has been a volunteer at Volunteer Way since 2011, helping her local community. She and her husband, Jim, reside in Pasco County with their two daughters. I follow the deep-seated Merrill tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives my interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.
