These may include discretionary portfolio management, sophisticated retirement planning, financing, cash management and a full complement of wealth preservation and transfer services.

As part of our process, we assist our clients in developing a customized financial strategy and investment policy statement, considering both risk tolerance and specific requirements or restrictions. With suitability in mind, we then create a strategic allocation model for the client and search for and select the appropriate type of investments or investment managers.

We regularly meet with our clients and diligently monitor the portfolio examining the progress towards our client's goals. Additional value is delivered to the client by preparing for tax efficiency, asset utilization and downside risk managment.

Mark van der Eijk is a Financial Advisor of the Miami Biscayne Office. Mark joined Merrill Lynch in 2004 and has been in the financial services industry for over twenty five years. Mark holds a Master Degree in International Business from Florida International University. Within the van der Eijk/ DuMond team, Mark concentrates his efforts on high net worth individuals and businesses, developing strategies to manage their personal and business finances. Mark lives in the Miami Lakes area with his wife Carlota and their children, Ryan and Danielle.

Frank DuMond is a Financial Advisor of the Miami Biscayne Office. Frank joined Merrill Lynch in 2004 and has been in the financial services industry for over eleven years. Frank holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from M.I.T. and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Frank managed assets for private clients as a Portfolio Manager with the South Florida offices of two major trust and investment management organizations and a South Florida based boutique mutual fund management firm. Frank lives in Hollywood, Florida with his wife Deborah and their two children.
