Still, the vast majority asks us to organize and optimize disparate pieces of their financial puzzle. That requires our ability to analyze what may be missing, as well as what is. Perhaps, a client’s improved use of credit could enhance the cash flow of their business. Or a type of trust or insurance may prove advantageous. Often, what’s needed is a simple updating of beneficiaries on important documents.
In other cases, we introduce mechanisms such as 10b5-1 plans to executives and board members, as well as cash balance plans and other defined benefit plans to owners of private businesses.
