She focuses on guiding clients through the wealth management process in order to define and prioritize goals, determine appropriate asset allocations, and implement strategies that are designed to help achieve those goals. She focuses on equity investment recommendations, connecting clients with the appropriate fixed income portfolios and managers, retirement saving and income strategies, options strategies, and conducting financial analyses for clients.
Emily, a Business graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, joined Merrill in 2009. Previously, she had a real estate career in New Orleans and served as a marketing associate at the Arkansas Arts Center. By joining Merrill, Emily seized the opportunity to work with her father, Gene May, who worked with Merrill for 40 years before retiring in 2017. Outside of work, Emily enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Robert, their 6 year old son, Emmett and, 4 year old daughter, Evan.
