Robert W. Kamme is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. He is responsible for advising affluent individuals and families to help implement financial strategies in the areas of investment advisory and wealth structuring. Previously, Robert was principal and managing member of Pacific Design Wealth Management, LLC in Los Angeles. Before PDWM, He was a senior vice president, private client advisor in Silicon Valley with US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Menlo Park, CA.

Prior, Robert was a managing director, Morgan Stanley, institutional equity research sales in New York, where he worked extensively with institutional investors as clients, from domestic and international hedge fund and asset management firms. Before, he was a director in Citigroup Global Markets, and began his career in institutional equity research sales at Montgomery Securities, San Francisco in 1993. Robert has also held various positions with Reuters America in New York since 1986.

Robert holds a bachelor of engineering degree in electrical engineering from the Pratt Institute, School of Engineering in New York.

He completed the Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) Certified Investment Management Analyst® Program at The Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation.

Robert obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc.

He is a member of the Financial Planning Association®, the Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) and Tau Beta Pi, (The National Engineering Honor Society) and active in the SoCal Alumni Chapter.

As a Merrill Lynch financial advisor, I focus on connecting all aspects of clients’ financial lives to help them prioritize and pursue goals that matter most to them. I work with individuals and families to understand their financial situation, risk tolerance, time horizon and liquidity needs. I help them articulate their short- and long-term goals then recommend a financial strategy aligned with what they strive to achieve. I do so while combining personalized service with the investment insights of Merrill Lynch and access to the banking convenience of Bank of America.

Capabilities

Using the broad investing resources of Merrill Lynch, I can also assist with income management, education funding, retirement planning, and guidance for executives with concentrated stock positions, traditional and alternative investments, wealth transfer and estate planning services. And with your permission we can also work closely with your other professionals, such as attorneys, accountants and other specialists, to help you pursue your goals.

Drawing upon research in the field of behavioral finance, Merrill Lynch developed the Investment Personality Assessment to help us get to know you better as an investor and potentially help you refine your own investing preferences. By gaining a deeper understanding of how you think and feel about investing through this assessment, we can customize the financial strategy we develop together to help you with your approach for what matters most to you. Our Investment Personality Assessment is one of the ways to help me get to know you – to understand your goals and priorities. These questions will give you a sense of the full assessment and help us provide you with additional insights and resources.
