Michael Jalaty is a Managing Director and Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill. Michael looks to provide consistent and measurable value to the clients he serves, helping them regain two precious commodities: capacity and time. With more than two decades in banking and wealth management, he offers knowledge, insight, and reliable leadership. More important, however, are the qualities he believes differentiate himself and his team: a genuine commitment to clients and their families, a dedication to the lost art of service, and an honest enjoyment from helping others.

Michael looks to create a different kind of client experience, one in which clients know they are valued, appreciated, understood, and top of mind. He doesn’t pay lip-service to these ideals; he strives to demonstrate clients’ importance through his actions. A capable and practiced team leader, Michael is resolute in delivering at the highest levels. To foster an ethic of excellence, he believes in some simple precepts: work hard, look for ways to say ‘yes,’ surround people with service they can feel, and let clients know you are in their corner. Very proud of his team, he credits their shared mindset with their ability to serve as a financial concierge for a host of needs.

Michael joined Bank of America in 1999 and has spent his entire career with the firm. Since 2004, he has served as a Financial Advisor. He is honored that client referrals are his exclusive source of new relationships, a fact that inspires his efforts to do all that he can to affirm that trust.

Born and bred in Irvine, Michael lives in his home city with his wife Helen and their two young daughters. In their free time, they enjoy going to the beach and riding their bikes.

I view myself as a financial resource, helping clients with potential solutions for transferring wealth to the younger generation.
