Through his GIC designation, Mitch also earned sub-designations in Endowments/Foundations/Not-for-Profits (EFN), Defined Benefit (DB), and is a Defined Contribution Investment Consultant (DCIC). Mitch’s focuses on providing consulting services including the creation of a formal investment policy, asset allocation modeling, manager selection, and performance measurement and evaluation.
In addition, Mitch is a Senior Portfolio Manager who can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. A Senior Portfolio Manager may make their strategies available to clients working with other Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Advisors. In addition to the institutions covering various industries that Mitch has worked with over the years, he has a focus on the resort, lodging, hospitality, and construction industries.
Mitch is a problem solver who works to enhance the efficient management of institutional investing. He is also a firm believer in paying close attention to both sides of his corporate clients’ balance sheets, which is why he offers access to Global Commercial Bankers from Bank of America. These bankers can provide a range of integrated banking services including credit, cash management, foreign exchange, equipment finance, merchant services, and workplace financial strategies.

Mitch earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation. Mitch is passionate about investment analysis and bettering his clients’ financial lives. His interests away from work include spending time with his family and cultivating exotic fruit. Mitch and his wife of 30 years, Lisa, live in Southern California and have three daughters, Haley, Rachel, and Analee.
