Brian joined Merrill Lynch in 2009 and has worked in the finance industry since 2006. He focuses on developing sophisticated wealth management strategies for successful individuals and families through a disciplined process tailored to each client’s unique situation, concerns, and goals. Brian utilizes his experience across financial markets to provide personalized advice and guidance on a full spectrum of wealth management strategies.
Brian is dedicated to forming close, collaborative client relationships founded on transparency and mutual trust. This consultative approach is proactive and engaging, helping to ensure that outcomes are fully understood and adjustments are made for evolving personal and financial situations. Brian is committed to a standard of service and convenience that removes complexity from his clients’ lives, allowing them to focus on other important endeavors.
Prior to his role as a Financial Advisor, Brian served as a Senior Analyst in Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group advising ultra high-net-worth clients including successful company founders, private equity partners, and senior executives. Brian provided investment advice and guidance across all asset classes, developed and implemented complex investment plans, and managed concentrated stock positions through multiple strategies.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Brian was an investment banking analyst at Citigroup Global Markets in San Francisco, where he covered prominent private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies in the consumer retail and healthcare sectors. His duties included financial modeling in the evaluation of leveraged buyouts, IPOs, debt offerings, and other M&A related transactions. Brian is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. He was elected Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society recognizing graduates in the top tenth percentile.
Brian lives in San Francisco with his wife Stephanie and enjoys running, baseball, cooking, and playing guitar.
