Founded in 1999, the Murphy-Fort Advisory Group addresses the sophisticated wealth management needs of an exclusive group of affluent individuals. We serve a limited clientele by design to create a personalized environment. Our goal is to help you define and organize what you want your wealth to accomplish, identifying any blind spots that could jeopardize your family’s lifestyle.

We can provide you with the best of both worlds: the intimacy of a small financial boutique, coupled with the investment insights of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and the banking strength of Bank of America. Our knowledge, acquired through real-world experience and professional designations, helps us stay abreast of new ideas and prepares us for events that might affect your financial situation.

We've spent our entire careers at Merrill and Greg Murphy and Ben Fort were named to Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list in 2018, 2019 and 2020*. Additionally, we were recognized in the San Francisco Business Times as NABCAP Premier Advisors, an exclusive group of financial advisors who represent the best in quality wealth management in the greater San Francisco Bay Area in 2012 and 2013 (the final year of rankings). We are currently entrusted with over $965MM in assets and have a client retention rate of 98.5% (as of July, 2020).
