Nick is a founding member of The Nicholson Group and works with a collaborative, caring team who supports families with multigenerational wealth management. Because every client has specific financial and life goals, Nick helps them clearly answer a key question: What does their wealth mean to them? By working with clients of all ages—from grandparents to children—to understand what their financial lives mean to each family member, he helps them uphold strategic wealth management for generations.
A financial advisor since 1993, Nick understands how to navigate various market environments while implementing diligent processes that help clients pursue financial goals and prepare for retirement throughout their lives. He provides every client with a probability analysis to identify if they can retire when they desire and with the income they need. From there, he tailors personalized strategies with a strong focus on asset allocation and risk tolerance built specifically to address clients’ unique financial lives. With the wealth management strategy in place, he reviews and rebalances clients’ portfolios as needed, so they have relevant, appropriate strategies guiding them.
In every step, Nick remains dedicated to serving as the point of contact for clients’ complete financial needs, such as providing access to lending services for business owners to providing investment guidance across various portfolios. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc . He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional designations.
Outside of the office, Nick mentors younger financial advisors within the Firm and is a lifelong martial arts practitioner who teaches adults. As the son of Russian immigrants, Nick also speaks Russian fluently. He currently lives in Windsor with his wife, Lydia, and their three sons, Dimitri, Dominic, and Gabriel.
