Camilo Mejia has worked in the Global Wealth Management industry for over 22 years, since where he has had the opportunity to work alongside with many of the leading international families. His career includes experience in the area of investments, portfolio structuring, estate planning services, financing structures, and economic development plans in the area of agriculture and foreign trade.
His goal is to become a trusted resource to each client so that they may rely on him for financial advice and guidance in their pursuit of their very own personal and financial success. His focus has always been to apply his experience, creativity and ethics to work client side for providing advice during the different financial events of international families. During his career he has had the opportunity to work for different institutions such as Lloyds TSB Bank, Banco Santander, and Merrill.
As a Merrill International Wealth Advisor, Camilo finds innovative ways to connect all the pieces of every client financial life. Camilo is typically focused on high net worth families who need a financial professional to help them to plan for long term goals connected with their very personal entrepreneur projects. Partnering with a team of specialists, he assists clients in every aspect of their financial lives as their first point of contact.
Camilo is a graduated of EAFIT University in Colombia (school of "Business Administration"). He has also had outstanding accomplishment in subsequent studies as the program " Excecutive Banking Program" LSE ( London School of Economics) in conjunction with the IEB (Institute of Market Studies of Madrid), and the SMART program (Securities, Markets, and Regulation Training) developed by University of Miami in conjunction with Banco Santander. Camilo currently resides in Miami.
