Profile

Caroline brings extensive experience, knowledge and insight acquired over a 30 year career in financial services. Her background in institutional trading, institutional investment management and private wealth management was attained with top Wall Street firms in New York City including Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank), Avatar Associates, Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase), Morgan Stanley and UBS. She joined Merrill Lynch in 2014. Caroline is a Senior Portfolio Advisor who can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of Merrill Lynch model portfolios and third-party investment strategies.  

Caroline and her team work with business owners, corporate executives, endowments and foundations. Within that realm she is focused on the investment and wealth management needs of professional women, as well as women experiencing major life transitions. Along with a high level of service and care, her clients receive a comprehensive approach to wealth management coupled with perspective only personal experience can provide. 

Based on the belief that a successful advisory business is built on a foundation of trust, integrity and mutual respect, Caroline advises clients on the accumulation, preservation and transfer of wealth through the creation of customized investment and wealth management strategies. The strategies are implemented utilizing a defined process encompassing the client’s investments, risk assessment, trust and estate complexities and relevant asset preservation strategies.
  
Caroline currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The Pequot Library (Southport, CT) and The Southport School (Southport, CT). In addition, she is a member of the Professional Advisors Council of Fairfield County’s Community Foundation; a member of Impact Fairfield County; and a long-standing member of the Tiffany Circle - Society of Women Leaders of the American Red Cross.

Caroline received a Bachelor of Arts from Wells College, with a major in Psychology and minor in Economics.

She resides in Westport, CT.

Among the reasons I chose to become a financial advisor is because of my passion for helping to educate my clients about investing. As a financial advisor, one of the most valuable things I can do for clients is to help them understand the markets, my investment process and to help them understand their life priorities and the impact this can have on their wealth management strategy. My advice and strategies are guided by an interest in your life’s goals and priorities.

We live in a world that’s constantly changing. Markets fluctuate moment to moment. New investment opportunities arise daily. Regulations are amended often. That’s why I believe that you and your situation are the best starting points from which to plan your financial future: where you are today, where you want to be tomorrow, and what you want to accomplish along the way. Because only by understanding you and your priorities, can I effectively offer my experience and resources and help you build a financial framework that is rooted in the unique complexities of your life.
