Geoffrey L. Fiszel, ChFC®
Vice President - Senior Financial Advisor
Geoffrey has been in the financial services industry since 1992 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2008. He develops tax-aware investment strategies for high-net worth individuals, their families, trusts, foundations and businesses. Geoffrey uses strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies to diversify low-cost concentrated equity positions. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65 and 31 registrations and Life, Accident & Health Insurance Licenses.
Geoffrey's wealth management style is consultative and objective. He draws upon his background and experience in the retail, transportation, manufacturing, insurance, real estate, and financial services industries and from an independent consulting practice. As a consultant, Geoffrey provided strategic and tactical advice to firms in different industries, including Fortune 100 firms, and provided litigation support services in high-profile cases. This experience qualifies Geoffrey to work effectively with client's attorneys, accountants and other advisors.
Geoffrey is a qualified Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own or personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm's Investment Advisory Program, a Portfolio Manager may manage his strategies on a discretionary basis.
Geoffrey holds a B.S., Management with a Concentration in Operations Research from New York University. He earned a M.S., Professional Accounting with a Concentration in Taxation from the University of Hartford.
