As a financial advisor, I have worked with some of the highest quality firms in the securities industry since 1974.I draw on those decades as I help individuals and families manage their wealth. Over the course of my career, I have used my deep understanding of the markets to help clients throughout numerous economic and market cycles. Candor and open client dialog are the foundation of my work.

Clients can look to me for strategies in key areas of wealth management, including retirement income planning, estate planning services, insurance and annuity reviews and education funding strategies. Through Bank of America, N.A., I can offer access to credit and lending services. I focus on growth and wealth preservation for clients as well as asset preservation, using fixed-income investments including municipal bonds, treasuries and corporate bonds. Generally, I use conservative strategies to help pursue clients’ financial needs, many of whom are either in retirement or close to that phase in their life. My service is supported by the investment insights of Merrill Lynch and the banking convenience of Bank of America, N.A.

If you’re near or in retirement, I can help you reorganize your wealth to generate income. If retirement is still several years away, we can discuss other investment strategies to address your specific needs. Finally, I can adjust your investment strategy to accommodate changing conditions and income demands that may arise during retirement. When needed, I can work with your accountants and attorneys as we work toward pursuing the future you deserve.

George joined Merrill Lynch in 2014, bringing with him the knowledge and experience he acquired since launching his financial services career in 1974 with Southeast Banking Corporation, now Wells Fargo, in Miami, Florida. Throughout his career, George has thrived on helping to guide clients on the path to their financial future. He enjoys the personal relationships he builds with these business owners, individuals and families. George finds the most rewarding part of his job is helping them focus on a goal and working with them through the years to pursue it.

A veteran in the industry, George has served in leadership positions for various major financial firms and industry groups. From 1993 to 1998 he served on the board of governors of the Florida Securities Dealers Association. During that time George was a sponsor for the Stock Market Games, which is the Foundation for Investor Education’s program that simulates real-world investing for school children. George holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations as well as the Life, Health & Variable Annuity Insurance licenses in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

When not working, George likes spending time with his wife, Mona, three children and two dachshunds. He also enjoys hiking and traveling, as well as photography. George is an accomplished portrait photographer. George makes his home in Fort Lauderdale, along with his wife, Mona.

Among the reasons I chose to become a financial advisor is because of my passion for helping to educate my clients about investing. As a financial advisor, one of the most valuable things I can do for clients is to help them understand the markets, my investment process and to help them understand their life priorities and the impact this can have on their wealth management strategy. My advice and strategies are guided by an interest in your life’s goals and priorities.

That's why, from the start, we talk about your aspirations and encourage you to ask questions about issues that matter most to you. Worried about managing future health care expenses? I begin every relationship with a conversation, helping you to identify and prioritize which goals matter most to you. Whether that's transferring wealth to the next generation, customizing financial strategies that help you pursue your passions, or simply providing advice and guidance to help you stay informed, I start by listening to learn more about you.

Merrill Lynch developed the Investment Personality Assessment to help us get to know your investing preferences. By gaining a deeper understanding of how you think and feel about investing through this assessment, I can help customize the financial strategy we develop together.

My process is designed to deliver a customized, consistent experience to assist clients not only in wealth accumulation and preservation, but in areas that go beyond portfolio management. My ability to provide access to the investment insights of Merrill Lynch and the banking convenience of Bank of America offers a way for clients to manage all of the pieces of their financial lives. I can be a financial resource, helping clients with the process of transferring wealth to the younger generation.
