With a century of collective financial services experience, BMWT & Associates offers wealth management services from its office in Evansville, Indiana. Our team brings clients access to the worldwide resources and investment insights of Merrill Lynch and the banking convenience of Bank of America. We assist retirees and pre-retirees, business owners, retired executives and institutions in building, managing and preserving their wealth.

As a client-oriented team in a service industry, our mission is to help you pursue your life and financial goals through exceptional personal service. We have had the pleasure of working with many clients for more than two decades. Many of these relationships have grown to include several generations of the same family.

Our client-to-staff ratio is intentionally kept low to create an intimate and highly personalized environment. This affords us substantial time to devote to each relationship, so we can truly understand what is important to you, and offer the advice and guidance and exceptional service you deserve.

Our dynamic and individualized approach to wealth management is built on personal relationships and shaped by an understanding of your life. Although strategies, tactics and tools are important elements in our process, we believe that effective wealth management should begin with a client-centric, goals-based view of what's important to you—your mission, vision and values. 

During our initial meetings, in addition to gathering pertinent financial data, we focus on other areas of importance including: your family, health, leisure, giving, home and work. Going beyond your investment statements, insurance policies and other financial documents, we seek to capture a clear understanding of who you are, what is important to you and how we can help. 

Regular tailored portfolio reviews provide you with an opportunity to reassess your asset allocation in light of changes in the market or your personal situation. If changes to your portfolio are needed, we will work together to evaluate the risk versus return of each investment recommendation in order to remain within your stated risk tolerance.

ACTIVE COLLABORATION
Working together and maintaining relationships with your attorneys, accountants and other key professionals helps us to clarify the various aspects of your wealth management strategy. We can also access Merrill Lynch specialists as needed, in such areas as managed solutions, insurance, and estate and retirement planning services, to gain their insight on your behalf. Furthermore, we can access a variety of Bank of America services, including investment banking, lending and trust services.

INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY
The foundation of our investment philosophy is to get to know each client individually in order to clearly understand his or her needs, goals and aspirations. We also want to know that their expectations are reasonable given their time horizon, liquidity needs, short- and long-term goals and risk tolerance. Once we have that understanding, we identify investments that are appropriately suited to help pursue their needs and wants, while considering costs, efficiency and effectiveness.

The goal with all portfolios is to reduce downside volatility without drastically limiting the upside potential. Therefore, we utilize investment managers who are long-term oriented as well as those who are tactically focused. In diversifying investment products and styles, we look for those that can complement one another, and steadily monitor them to see that they are performing the way we intend. We utilize the strength of BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research and vetting process along with our own years of experience to identify the strategies that can match each client's outlook.

Do I have enough to cover my needs, my dreams and the unexpected? How do today's choices affect others I care about tomorrow? Is there life after work?

Strategies for business: We help corporate executives and entrepreneurs focus on business and personal finances by offering access to a significant range of financial services, including corporate cash management, retirement plan services, business succession, estate planning services, gifting strategies and insurance. We can also access Bank of America lending, corporate and home financing and banking services. If you are contemplating the sale of your business, we can connect you with Bank of America investment bankers.

Institutional clients: We offer a wealth of knowledge and experience helping private and public organizations pursue their mission and fiduciary goals. Working with specialists from Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Institutional Consulting, who have deep expertise in these areas, we can offer access to a wide range of customized consulting services to hospitals, religious organizations, colleges and other institutional clients. In addition, we can offer institutional and individual clients with significant assets access to a variety of investment advisory services through Merrill Lynch Consulting Services.
