Craig utilizes his experience to quarterback information with a team of specialists that assist him to develop goals based wealth management plans to fit the needs of high net worth individuals and their families. With more than 37 years of working at Merrill, Craig has built dozens of working relationships in the industry and he is equipped with the confidence of knowing whom to trust for the expertise necessary to help his clients.
GET TO KNOW US Craig has spent his entire brokerage career with Merrill, joining the firm in 1984 with previous sales management experience in the office equipment industry and having also worked as the national sales manager of a division of a coatings company. Craig is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a minor in Business Administration. Craig served his country in both the Army National Guard and Air Force National Guard. Craig travels across America, attending meetings that position him to engage with the leading portfolio managers, economists, and investment strategists and he brings those insights to his clients.
Craig lives on Evansville’s east side with his wife, Kathy, a group exercise instructor at Tri-State Athletic Club. The McNett's church home is Christian Fellowship Church.
Craig and Kathy's son, Christian, was a May 2020 graduate of the Gordon Ford College of Business in Finance at Western Kentucky University. In 2021 he started working for Merrill as a Client Associate in the Evansville Indiana office. Christian had worked portions of the previous two years at Merrill as a Seasonal Client Associate and as an intern with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
The McNett's also have two other grown children; their daughter, Elyse Goonan, with her husband, Justin moved to the Bloomington Indiana area in 2018, where Elyse is working as a Software Project Consultant with Envisage Technologies. Justin is Director of Rugby at Indiana University while still serving as one of four coaches on the USA National Team.
The McNett's older son, Benjamin, with his wife, Courtney, and their daughter, Morgan Elizabeth relocated to the Franklin Tennessee area in 2018. Ben works in real estate as an Affiliate Broker with SilverPointe Properties specializing in the Williamson County area of Tennessee. Courtney works as the Treasury Manager of Cash Management with Nissan of North America. Morgan is in the fifth grade at Winstead Elementary School.
OUR CLIENTS We work with busy professionals, business owners, surgeons, physicians, and other medical professionals, savers and other high net worth individuals who have successful, complex lives, but lack the time and expertise necessary to prepare for their financial futures. We provide strategies to help them transition from the wealth accumulation phase of their life to the distribution phase. For some clients, one-time liquidity events such as the sale of a business or a professional practice, inheritance, divorce, personal injury, incentive stock options, structured settlement and retirement transitions can all create urgency around the need to seek financial advice. We can coordinate key dialogue between you, your family members, accountants, attorneys and life insurance professionals. As you deem it appropriate, we’ll share information about your finances to help them prepare your taxes, insurance strategies and legal documents.

To help you build your portfolio, we employ a long-term investment approach and the timeless principles of asset allocation to take advantage of diversification and reduce volatility. Your allocation will typically have several components, each serving a particular purpose. A portion may be allocated with the objective of comfortably meeting your retirement income needs and at least keeping pace with inflation. Additional assets may be invested to target higher return benchmarks and other important goals. In short we deliver institutional money management for individuals and families.
