Since launching my financial services career at Merrill Lynch in 1981, I’ve served the financial needs of a high-net-worth clientele, many who’ve been with me for more than 20 years – business owners (working and retired), physicians, attorneys, widows and widowers, and, now, multiple generations of families.
Today, The Blake Group continues to deliver a holistic, goals-based wealth management approach to clients coast-to-coast. We work tirelessly to incorporate clients’ motivations and aspirations into their long-term financial strategies. One thing I’ve learned is that the deep client relationships we forge are at the core of most positive financial outcomes. I hold a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation and feel privileged to help preserve the wealth and lifestyles that clients have worked hard to achieve. I’m also approved as a Portfolio Advisor within the Merrill Lynch Investment Advisory Program for specially qualified Merrill Lynch Financial Advisors. As a Portfolio Advisor, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, I can help clients pursue their investment objectives by recommending individual, or any combination of, Merrill Lynch or approved third- party investment managers’ strategies, funds or portfolios. With most clients looking toward a comfortable retirement, we typically build tax-sensitive and risk-sensitive portfolios that can weather market volatility, generate a steady income, and provide a fair rate of return. These portfolios often include large-cap equities with dividends that have increased over time, bonds, mutual funds and ETFs.
