Mark Ventresco is a Senior Vice President, a Wealth Management Advisor, and a Resident Director at Merrill. Mark offers first-hand experience unwinding the complexities that significant wealth can entail, drawing on more than twenty-five years as an advisor to an accomplished clientele, many of whom are business owners, senior executives, and multi-generational families. In parallel with this role, he serves as the Resident Director for Century City, part of the flagship West Los Angeles Market, where he is responsible for mentoring and guiding a large cohort of Financial Advisors, leading a culture that prioritizes professional excellence and client well-being.

Throughout his career, Mark has looked to build things that endure—a family’s legacy, a business owner’s impact, an executive’s path to a secure retirement, or another meaningful goal. He begins each relationship by gaining a detailed understanding of each client’s circumstances—both where they are, and where they want to be in their financial lives. Mark likens his role to that of a financial architect, bringing a level of customization and one-on-one attention to each relationship, in order to forge a more cohesive whole. He offers the knowledge and insight he has gained from direct experience, while integrating the resources and capabilities of the wider firm. Clients look to him for discreet advice, reliable service, and quiet integrity. For busy individuals, Mark helps to “manufacture time,” overseeing multiple facets of their wealth so they can focus on the personal and professional pursuits they most value.

Responsible for attracting and developing preeminent talent, Mark looks to facilitate his team’s success by connecting them to the resources, tools, and training that can amplify their effectiveness. Mark has worked in financial services since 1993 and joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2013. He earned his M.B.A. in business management from Pepperdine University, where his capstone project focused on transition planning for privately held business owners. Committed to professional excellence, he holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation.

Mark and his wife Amy live in Redondo Beach with their daughter, Lauren. Mark and Amy enjoy supporting Lauren’s passions as a competitive gymnast and dancer. In his free time, Mark also likes to tackle home-improvement projects.
