We serve clients in three professional capacities. First, we guide clients in building a strategy designed to generate a lifetime cash flow and to help them pursue their desired outcomes. Second, we provide access through Bank of America, N.A., to full-scale personal and business banking services, including secured and unsecured financing arrangements. Third, we synthesize our experience and knowledge with the vast strategy and research resources of BofA Global Research to guide clients in creating customized portfolios that can be the cornerstone of their wealth structure. In summary, we strive to help clients clarify their objectives, understand the link between goal and strategy, and support the seamless execution of these strategies.

Goals-Based Wealth Management Process

We strive to simplify complex financial situations and offer clients a clear understanding of the link between strategy and execution. To that end, we follow a disciplined, five-step wealth management process:

STEP 1 PROFILE CLIENT: Every client is unique. We look at the demographic, financial and behavioral distinctions that drive lifestyle and legacy decisions, guide investment choices, and reflect who and what matters most to the client.

STEP 2 ESTABLISH GOALS: We help clarify and prioritize lifestyle and financial goals, then map these goals to cash flow and wealth objectives over time. We also discuss the possible effect of taxes, estate planning services and philanthropic considerations, as well as designated beneficiaries.*

STEP 3 SET STRATEGY: Once we have established clear objectives, we conduct a thorough review of client assets and investments and help them craft a goals-focused financial strategy. It is important that clients understand how the overall strategy and select portfolios are connected to their vision.

Our conservative approach to managing wealth translates into strategies designed to manage risk and grow assets prudently.

STEP 4 IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES: We give you access to the investment insights of Merrill and the banking convenience of Bank of America, offering you a broad range of services and capabilities.

STEP 5 REVIEW PROGRESS: We conduct periodic and event-based reviews of the client's wealth management strategy and track progress against goals to determine what adjustments, if any, are needed to help you stay the course.
