We encourage individuals to think more like institutions by adopting a strategic investment approach. In general, institutional investors take a long-term view, avoid emotional reactions to short-term changes in financial markets and tend to manage risk through broad diversification.

Our aim is to help clients strive for better risk-adjusted returns through disciplined investing. As your wealth management advisors, we can help you build "all weather" core and satellite portfolios based on your individual goals, time horizon, liquidity needs and risk tolerance. We follow a contrarian investment style and will often make recommendations to help you take advantage of tactical opportunities, such as investments we believe are undervalued.

For individuals who currently participate in a corporate retirement plan, we can offer valuable insights to help you make critical, required decisions about distribution options (such as lump sum payments, annuity payments, rollovers and transfers) in the months leading up to retirement. If you are self-employed, or your employer does not offer retirement benefits, we can advise you on funding your own retirement with a tax-qualified retirement plan, Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or other strategy.
