Edgar Manjarrez, CRPS™, CPFA™ is Retirement Benefits Consultant and Financial Advisor in Northern Nevada at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Edgar joined Merrill in 2022 after spending more than four years as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno. As a first-generation Latino who was abandoned at the age of 5 with his brother, his childhood was marked by adversity and struggle. Edgar overcome significant challenges to become the person he is today. Edgar originally from Los Angeles, made Northern Nevada his home when adopted in his teenage years. Edgar lives with his dog (Bozeman). He enjoys the outdoors and fly fishing with his brothers and most importantly spending time with family. HIs childhood fueled his obsession to impact and help inspire and impact the Next Generation in Northern Nevada. Edgar now spends his time volunteering, previously as a Young Leaders Committee member for the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and a committee member for The Children's Cabinet.
