Ryan began his Merrill Lynch career as a Financial Advisor in 2007 at the height of the bull market and housing bubble. Before relocating to the firm's Portsmouth, NH office in 2013, he started his business in the firm’s Quincy, MA location. Now, for more than a decade, he has dedicated his time to serving the needs of entrepreneurs, business owners, and successful families around the country. Ryan holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation, Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations, and is also a registered insurance agent. His team currently oversees more than $112,000,000 entrusted client assets (as of February 16, 2018).

Ryan and Jennifer both joined Merrill Lynch in the same month and share an unparalleled commitment to taking care of people and their money.  Jennifer has previously been recognized as one of the Top 100 Client Associates in the entire firm. Ryan was named to Forbes "America's Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors" List in 2017, ranked Number One in New Hampshire andmost recently, named to Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list in 2018.

Ryan graduated from Stonehill College in 2007 with degrees in Mathematics and Economics, and is an avid outdoorsman.  He currently lives in the small, coastal town of Kittery, ME with his wife, Heidi and two sons, Wyatt and Owen.

We follow a disciplined process to help each family plan for the future and create an investment strategy that matches what they are trying to accomplish. By integrating Goals-Based Planning, Investment Management, and Banking & Lending services from Bank of America into one wealth management plan, we are able to deliver a fully tailored strategy to each family.  We currently serve just 63 private wealth families which allows Jennifer and I to offer a one-of-a kind experience.  “One differentiation is our process for closely monitoring the client's plan and comparing the portfolio’s results to the specific goals of that client. Being able to effectively communicate where the client stands financially, and how they’re tracking towards their goals is an invaluable asset to clients and their busy lives."
We very strongly believe that true wealth management extends beyond the investment portfolio. Getting to know the client on a personal level and helping to prioritize short and long term goals is always the first step. This requires a deep understanding of family dynamics, desired outcomes, and areas of concern.    Next in the process, we work with each client to develop an appropriate asset allocation plan.  This will include assets we manage, as well as assets held away.  From here, we look to identify high conviction investment themes across the global marketplace that are the right fit for each client, their goals, and risk profile.  Merrill Lynch's "open architecture" platform allows us to build fully customized portfolios using both the firm's proprietary investment models, as well as many of the world's most prestigious investment managers.  It is quite common for our team to incorporate both passive and active approaches to investing using ETF's, Alternative Investments, Mutual Funds, Individual Stocks & Bonds, as well as Institutional/Professional Managers.  
My team and our resources include experts and services from Merrill Lynch and Bank of America, N.A. in the areas of Estate Planning Services, Wealth Transfer & Legacy Planning, Charitable Giving, Concentrated Stock Management, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, and Banking & Lending - all of which can be important pieces to a client's personal plan.   With this approach, our team is able to deliver detailed planning results and a practical, yet effective investment portfolio backed by BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research.  This combination of personal planning, service, and investment experience produces an unmatched result and client satisfaction.

My ability to provide access to the investment insights of Merrill Lynch and the banking convenience of Bank of America offers a way for clients to manage all of the pieces of their financial lives. I can be a financial resource, helping clients with the process of transferring wealth to the younger generation.

By gaining a deeper understanding of how you think and feel about investing through this assessment, we can customize the financial strategy we develop together to help you with your approach for what matters most to you. Our Investment Personality Assessment is one of the ways to help me get to know you – to understand your goals and priorities. These questions will give you a sense of the full assessment and help us provide you with additional insights and resources.
