At Hayn & Associates, we measure our success by the tenure of our relationships with clients, the referrals we receive, and our ability to facilitate positive outcomes for clients and their families. We feel privileged to help clients solidify financial foundations on which they can enjoy well-deserved lifestyles and build meaningful legacies. 

As a multi-generational team, we encourage clients to step back and examine their wealth and wishes from a long-term perspective. By helping them identify and prioritize goals they deem meaningful (yet may not have considered previously), we can help accomplished individuals accomplish more – for themselves, their children, grandchildren, and causes they wish to support.

Who do we serve? Senior-level pharmaceutical executives, physicians and attorneys, divorced and widowed men and women for whom we extend ourselves professionally and personally to help them regain financial certainty and confidence. We also assist many successful people from different walks of life who are nearing retirement and need a cohesive strategy that encourages fact-based decisions, rather than emotional ones. 

While our clientele resides in over 20 states and is certainly diverse, we do our best work for those who ask for our opinions, listen, and heed our advice. As a result, we tend to attract busy individuals who don’t have the time or inclination to manage the myriad details of their financial lives. Based on the tenure of our client relationships, we believe they find value in our relationship – and we expect that you will, too.

Establishing milestones — or stepping stones, as we prefer to say — is something we tackle together. Why? Because the right wealth management path for you includes meeting the challenges you face today and may face tomorrow. 

At the foundation of our planning-based approach is our recognition that your personal and financial goals are yours alone. Additionally, your preferences for working with us may be different from other clients. You may wish to talk often, or infrequently. Given a challenge, you may want to call us or meet at your kitchen table. We take no “cookie-cutter” approach, because we have no “cookie-cutter” clients.

As a “first call” for many clients, we are devoted to a highly professional and proactive standard of client care – one that is especially critical when your family issues take precedent. If something keeps you awake at night, we want to know the next morning. We take each your financial and emotional wellbeing personally – as if serving our own families.

In serving clients nationwide, we travel to ensure that distance doesn’t compromise our ability to act as high-caliber stewards of client wealth. In those meetings, we spend time talking about clients’ children – and our own – clients’ professions and passions. We also make time to review clients’ wills, health care proxies and other important documents.

Experience tells us that clients come to us for many reasons. Often, they’ve accumulated wealth, inherited wealth, or their kids have graduated and they’re looking toward a fulfilling retirement lifestyle. Other times, they realize that financial decisions are too time-consuming or challenging to handle on their own. We admire clients for their values and appreciate the value they see in us. We feel privileged to manage their assets, liabilities and expectations – as we would, yours.

SERVING MULTIPLE GENERATIONS
At Hayn & Associates, it’s natural for us to look at financial matters from a multi-generational perspective. Thanks in great part to this perspective, Frank Hayn, his daughter, Kelley Mack, and our other team professionals have come to serve two, three, and four generations of families – hardworking people who appreciate our multi-generational heritage and approach.  

To provide the depth and breadth of “family wealth” planning that each client deserves, we strive to understand the situations and ambitions of all stakeholders. From familial relationships with clients and open communications come strategies that include risk-managed investing, education and retirement planning, gifting, wealth transfer and more.

In addition to our ability to help creating lasting client wealth, our team’s ages align nicely with those of clients at each life stage. This bolsters our competency in exploring family dynamics. By hosting family meetings and retreats, we can gain a genuine sense of what drives clients’ ambitions and concerns. Additionally, we make it our business to help “the next generation” view the responsibilities and opportunities of family wealth.

To help clients enjoy tax efficiencies and benefit from effective wealth transfer strategies, we often work in concert with clients’ CPAs and attorneys. Contributing to the longtime satisfaction of client families is our readiness to call upon specialists at Merrill Lynch, U.S. Trust, and Bank of America, N.A. Bringing the right people to the table offers clients a blend of sophistication, resourcefulness, and an extra measure of unbiased insight.

We also explain our recommendations whether we address your concentrated positions, non-qualified stock options, restricted shares, or build your portfolio from scratch. In every case, we aim for tax efficiency, as it relates to your situation.
