Fred Lorenz, CFP®, CRPC®, CPFA
Fred began his career at Merrill in 1983 after graduating with a degree in Commerce from Rider University. He was fortunate to partner with his father who taught him life lessons that no textbook could offer – to be a person of value to others and the importance of a strong work ethic. For more than 39 years, Fred has lived by these principles while keeping his client’s best interests and goals in mind. He strives to exceed client expectations through exceptional financial strategy, planning and service.
Fred is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® professional awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor CPFA, and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor CRPC® designations. With their extensive experience in investments, financial strategies, insurance and education, retirement, as well as estate planning services and tax minimization strategies, Fred and the Lorenz Wealth Management Team can accommodate every aspect of their client’s financial needs. In addition to working with individuals and businesses, Fred takes great pride in working with multi-generational families who trust his guidance and acumen with their loved ones. Fred also focuses on planning for families with multiples that often need solutions for their unique financial challenges.

Fred lives in Yardley, PA and is married with four grown children, including triplets – two of whom work for Merrill. Fred enjoys community outreach, especially working to help the children of Urban Promise, Trenton. His favorite pastime is spending time at the beach with his extended family, and when wind conditions allow, sailing on the Barnegat Bay.
Karlie Lorenz, Financial Advisor, CFP®, CPFA
Karlie takes pride in establishing meaningful client relationships by developing a deep understanding of their financial situation and goals. Karlie holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, CPFA designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® professional awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Karlie helps clients take advantage of the full breadth of what Merrill has to offer. She assists clients with investment advisory, retirement planning, education planning, insurance, and trust needs. Karlie is passionate about volunteering and currently serves on the board of UrbanPromise Trenton. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her extended family in Long Beach Island, NJ. Karlie is a graduate of James Madison University and currently lives in Philadelphia, PA.
Drew Lorenz, Financial Advisor, CFP®
Drew is a third-generation Merrill advisor and takes a client-focused approach to wealth management. He listens carefully to gain an understanding of his client’s priorities and goals and leverages the vast resources of Merrill to meet their needs. He is proud to be a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® professional awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and is committed to serving clients in all facets of their financial life including retirement planning, portfolio construction, and estate planning services. Drew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Miami. When not serving clients, he enjoys deep sea fishing and sailing off the coast of New Jersey.
Lori Belmont, Registered Senior Wealth Management Client Associate
Lori began her career at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 1979. In 2008, Lori was awarded the designation of Essential Service Partner. She has been a valued partner in our practice since 1983. Lori is responsible for client account maintenance and client service requests. Her experience and knowledge has been critical to the success of our business. Lori lives in Hamilton Square, New Jersey with her husband and two sons.
