Michele Pasqualina is a Financial Advisor and Senior Portfolio Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management's Great Neck office in The North Shore Complex. Michele works primarily with individuals, multi-generational families and business owners to develop and implement investment and estate planning strategies to put their money to work with the shared goal of a life well spent. A Senior Portfolio Advisor can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios and third-party investment strategies.
Michele earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts at Smith College, where she designed a course of study tracing the way people learn. At Smith, Michele held the positions of Strategic Chair and President of the Student Alumnae Association.
Michele Pasqualina was a Commercial Real Estate Broker in the New York City market for 8 years at two of the largest commercial real estate firms in the country, Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark Knight Frank. She was involved in many of Manhattan's most prestigious retail assignments, specializing in both Tenant and Landlord Representation, including Ann Taylor, Benetton, Gymboree, Hartz Mountain Corporation, The Hearst Corporation, Revlon, WPP, among others. Michele has also successfully negotiated on the behalf of entrepreneurs and newcomers to the NYC market.
The years advising these entrepreneurs and business owners, who were so personally invested in each real estate transaction, opened the door to advising clients in regards to the entirety of their investments and financial goals.
Prior to her career in Real Estate, Michele was the Manager of Client Relations and Deployments at E Commerce Group Products, Inc., a financial software company servicing Fortune 500 companies. Michele advised clients seeking customized financial software solutions and acted as their liaison to the developers building their product. Michele made the leap to Commercial Real Estate when Newmark New Spectrum sought a consultant to clean up their databases.
Consulting Work and Background
Michele worked as a Marketing and Business Development Consultant during her son’s early school years, focused on product development and web development for growing small businesses. During this time, Michele taught SAT and SHSAT test preparation for Kaplan. She had the honor of teaching at the Gilder Lehrman Saturday Academies in 2011-12 at the Museum of the City of New York, honored by the White House with the 2011 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award.
Michele grew up, literally, in a fine painting school, The Roslyn School of Painting in the Village of Roslyn, New York, which was founded in 1960 by her father Charles Pasqualina. Her exposure to an eclectic group of passionate artists has shaped her and her ability to help her clients put their money to work to achieve fulfillment in their lives and the lives of others.
Michele is a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Manhasset, New York. She was the 1995 Sports Night Blue Captain, the 1994 Junior Art Captain, and the Art Director of the Magnificat.
She is a member of the Smith College Club of New York, an Alumnae Interviewer for prospective Smith students, a volunteer for Friends of the Bay and has served on the Board of St. Mary's High School.
