Gerry Mehan points out, “Helping clients manage their financial affairs takes many forms. We share tax documents with CPAs, talk to clients’ attorneys frequently, and even help clients compare credit cards and monitor transactions when they travel. Our holistic, hands-on approach includes ‘checklist reviews’ of areas that may be neglected, such as long-term care.”
With most clients seeking steady growth and tax efficiencies, the team uses internal and external research to craft tailored portfolios across asset classes and sectors. Special efforts are also made to determine and explain costs embedded within portfolios. Cost efficiency is an ongoing concern for the team and clients.
