A veteran of the wealth management industry, Allan joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2017 after spending 15 years at Ayco Company, L.P. (a Goldman Sachs company) – most of that time as a Vice President.

Realistic in setting client expectations and holistic in his approach, Allan helps clients appreciate the importance of taking a long-term view on preserving and growing the wealth they’ve worked hard to accumulate. Allan is devoted to providing an extra measure of attention to clients whose success he is committed to support.

Allan is headquartered in The SEAM Wealth Management Group’s Rockefeller Center office in New York City. High energy inside and outside the office, he enjoys working out and serving others. Allan actively supports the Tenement Museum, the Alzheimer's Foundation, the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, and serves Thanksgiving meals to families in need. He is a former college and high school football coach, and volunteers in that capacity at Susan Wagner High School. Allan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Union College, where he captained the football team and was selected as All-East Conference several times.

In order to create a more fulfilling environment for clients – and serve them in ways that bring added value – our team recently moved to Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. We joined the firm to advance our forward-looking approach with vast resources that can help clients plan and prepare for key milestones and transitions.

Accounting for clients’ ambitions, circumstances and desires to make wise financial decisions, we do not guide clients with our eyes on industry benchmarks. Instead, we take the time to see clients as people, rather than portfolios. We want to know what’s on a client’s mind, their greatest fears and most cherished goals. By visiting clients at their homes, sitting at their kitchen tables, and engaging with spouses and entire families whenever possible, we can help them explore and identify their objectives.

Over the years, we’ve developed the rich experience and demonstrated ability to manage high concentrations of wealth for an affluent, nationwide clientele – including many individuals who’ve been referred to us. We are fully invested in supporting these clients and welcome the opportunity to serve you, as well.

Most importantly, each strategy is crafted and adjusted for the needs of each client.

• Take advantage of our strategic partnerships with attorneys and CPAs – helping clients set up a trust, a will, or an LLC (whatever’s in their best interest). On many occasions, we reach out to clients’ own tax and legal advisors – to help ensure the coordination of tax minimization and estate planning strategies. 
• Offer access to Bank of America, N.A. for residential, securities-based, and commercial lending. With the firm’s vast resources, we are able to place client families at the center of an integrated wealth management process that is focused and fluid.
• Help clients stay true to themselves and those they love. We visit clients where they live and encourage meetings with their entire families. Frequent conversations revolve mostly around shared interests, not financial topics. Often, we attend charitable events with clients. Experience tells us that putting our heads together as a team – and understanding of what drives clients – is the most effective way to help them put wealth to work.
