Understanding Your Life


At The Balducci Wealth Management Group, we serve accomplished individuals who demand more from a financial advisory team. For those who generate wealth – and need to abide by specific guidelines – we have a proud tradition of providing clients in similar circumstances with an optimal service experience.

As our reputation continues to grow, so does our clientele. Today, we work closely with senior-level executives at major worldwide insurance and reinsurance companies (as well as other publicly traded companies), current and retired partners of “Big Four” accounting firms, technology professionals and major New York law firms, consulting professionals, entrepreneurs, and generations of their families.

Given the ambitious nature of clients, new opportunities and obstacles invariably present themselves. That’s why we speak to clients on a regular basis. We feel privileged to bring them strong continuity of service and genuine understanding.

There are no shortcuts to what we do. As a dedicated six-person team along with three specialists, we’re as motivated as the clients we serve – and look forward to assisting others who can benefit from our experienced knowledge and focus.

A Disciplined, Planning-Based Approach

Ours is not a typical approach, because we don’t serve “typical” clients. Our process can be defined by the familial nature of our client relationships and our consistent awareness of their needs. At The Balducci Wealth Management Group, we recognize clients’ voices when they call and their comfort with risk. We also know that “performance” matters to clients and why they hire us.

Experience tells us that future legacy planning can be as critical as addressing clients’ near-term challenges. This inspires our efforts to establish genuine trust and paths of communication with both spouses (asking each to separately complete the same questionnaire), as well as with entire families. By encouraging each family member to get involved to the extent they want to be in planning discussions, we can craft long-term strategies that more accurately reflect the desires of all stakeholders.

We never forget that a majority of our clients are running companies, auditing them, or advising and consulting for them. Accordingly, we are diligent in how we structure retirement, risk-management, tax-minimization, cash flow, and wealth preservation strategies (often in concert with clients’ CPAs and attorneys, and specialists across our firm).

With each team member’s background being different from the next, we enjoy “solid fits” with clients and their families. This leads to frequent discussions with clients that occur naturally (rather than those prescribed by any calendar). During working hours or after, we value the time spent with clients – in San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia, South Florida, New York, or wherever they call home. Meeting at clients’ summer homes or favorite restaurants, for example, allows for casual conversations and may give us a deeper appreciation of their greatest fears and most cherished goals.

Assisting Professional Service Partners

For current and retired partners of the “Big Four” accounting firms, major New York law firms, technology and consulting professionals, as well as many others, The Balducci Wealth Management Group helps each client navigate through a range of specific restrictions and financial decisions.
Depending on their firm, each client may face a complex series of decisions regarding their pensions and other areas. With each retirement and pension structured differently, we help clients satisfy strict investment guidelines, make joint and survivor elections, and determine the various options regarding partial or lump sum payouts. 
Each client’s strategy is based on a multitude of factors – their objectives for themselves and loved ones, risk tolerance, investment timeline, liquidity needs, age, health, pension size, the age of their spouse, and what makes the most sense from a mathematical perspective. For clients with investment restrictions, the diversified portfolio we build may include a blend of several asset classes – including ETFs and mutual funds from independent managers.

For retirees and others not subject to issues of partners, we may use separately managed accounts with investments across asset classes, to help clients achieve tax and cost efficiencies based on their particular strategy.

In serving C-suite corporate and other senior-level executives of major insurance, reinsurance, technology and other publicly traded companies, The Balducci Wealth Management Group brings decades of experience to those holding concentrated equity positions. Based on your situation, your portfolio allocation may reflect a hedging strategy (like those above) or one designed to minimize costs and/or tax consequences.

Additionally, we can help you enjoy easier access to cash – especially when your cash flow is uneven throughout the year (due to compensation structures that may include lump sum payments, profit sharing and/or restricted stock).
