Merrill Lynch Wealth Management First Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor Jamie Block has been helping clients grow wealth and achieve their financial goals for over 17 years. Jamie has navigated multiple market cycles, allowing his clients to prosper in a wide range of financial climates. To better serve his clients, he has recently collaborated with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management's Tactical Associates based in Houston, TX, a team within Merrill Private Wealth Management with deep experience in managing the financial demands of high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. This collaboration allows discerning client's exclusive access to an expansive range of tactical equity and bond offerings.
Jamie's first career was as a singer-songwriter signed to Capital Records in the mid-1990s. He traveled the country extensively on concert tours and his songs can still be heard in major motion picture soundtracks. He is an avid tennis player.
In my career, investors have been blindsided by two major market corrections: the breathtaking market declines of the "Great Recession" and the bursting of the "dot com” bubble .
