Hank joined Merrill Lynch in 1997 after over a decade in the banking industry. As a Merrill Lynch Senior Financial Advisor, Hank’s goal is to be the very best in his field in working with families, individual investors and business owners in the development and implementation of their financial and investment strategies.
Having access to an array of specialists, Hank advises clients on wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer through the creation of individually customized wealth management strategies utilizing a defined process. This process includes portfolio development, education planning, liability management, tax minimization, and asset preservation with a specific emphasis on helping to assure a lifetime retirement income stream. As a result of his banking background, Hank is also quite successful at assisting business clients in their banking and credit needs.
Hank knows the accumulation and preservation of wealth present different challenges and opportunities to each of the clients with whom he works. Each family and business owner has unique financial circumstances requiring individualized attention. Hank works closely with clients' other trusted advisors including attorneys and accountants to address clients' tax, trust, philanthropic and estate issues – including wealth transfer strategies – to truly be an “essential resource”.
Because there are many areas of financial interest to clients, Hank takes the time necessary to listen to and educate families and business owners about their choices and assist them in making thoughtful decisions appropriate for their current needs and aspirations.
Hank is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in international finance. He also received a Masters in Business Administration from Bentley College. He currently resides in Manhattan with his wife Denise and two sons Jonathan and Harrison.
I follow the deep-seated Merrill Lynch tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives my interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.
