Gene has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. Gene is a specially qualified Senior Portfolio Advisor who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance to individuals, businesses,  and institutions, can draw from his experience to help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm’s Investment Advisory Program, a Senior Portfolio Advisor may manage those strategies on a discretionary basis. Gene has acquired additional training and certification to offer the New York Partnership Long Term Care program to clients. Gene works with clients developing strategies to manage and maintain wealth and generate retirement income, with an emphasis on balance, moderate risk, and quality. He works with businesses, non profit institutions, and individuals, and helps create and manage client retirement plans such as IRAs, endowment plans, and pension plans. Gene also offers multiple custom portfolios using institutional portfolio managers for clients to help them develop and maintain their wealth. Gene resides on Long Island and has two children, Alex, who is practicing law in Phoenix, AZ, and Jackie, who is teaching art and health and wellness to troubled and autistic children in Massachusetts.   Gene has served his local community in a variety of functions over the years, and works at his local soup kitchen.   Gene is also a boater, enjoys fishing, playing a little guitar, and making his own beer.
