At The SEAM Wealth Management Group, we are motivated by the belief that our performance and professionalism play critical roles in enhancing and enriching the lives of client families. Each of us is proud of our ability to turn research into results, to deliver highly personalized service, and of the relationships with clients that grow from our efforts.
 
In order to create a more fulfilling environment for clients – and serve them in ways that bring added value – our team recently moved to Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. We joined the firm to advance our forward-looking approach with vast resources that can help clients plan and prepare for key milestones and transitions.

Accounting for clients’ ambitions, circumstances and desires to make wise financial decisions, we do not guide clients with our eyes on industry benchmarks. Instead, we take the time to see clients as people, rather than portfolios. We want to know what’s on a client’s mind, their greatest fears and most cherished goals. By visiting clients at their homes, sitting at their kitchen tables, and engaging with spouses and entire families whenever possible, we can help them explore and identify their objectives.

Over the years, we’ve developed the rich experience and demonstrated ability to manage high concentrations of wealth for an affluent, nationwide clientele – including many individuals who’ve been referred to us. We are fully invested in supporting these clients and welcome the opportunity to serve you, as well.

The bedrock of our approach is developing an intimate understanding of how clients view their wealth – and the opportunities, responsibilities and challenges that come with it. Once purpose is defined and family values are understood, The SEAM Wealth Management Group strives to:

• Blend our decades of investment wisdom with the firm’s outstanding research. Rather than have a single investment philosophy, we employ an array of sophisticated strategies – to help clients enjoy the long-term benefits of asset allocation, active and passive management, best-in-class managers, and often, the use of options and private equity. Most importantly, each strategy is crafted and adjusted for the needs of each client.

• Take advantage of our strategic partnerships with attorneys and CPAs – helping clients set up a trust, a will, or an LLC (whatever’s in their best interest). On many occasions, we reach out to clients’ own tax and legal advisors – to help ensure the coordination of tax minimization and estate planning strategies. 
 
• Offer access to Bank of America, N.A. for residential, securities-based, and commercial lending. With the firm’s vast resources, we are able to place client families at the center of an integrated wealth management process that is focused and fluid.
 
• Help clients stay true to themselves and those they love. We visit clients where they live and encourage meetings with their entire families. Frequent conversations revolve mostly around shared interests, not financial topics. Often, we attend charitable events with clients. Experience tells us that putting our heads together as a team – and understanding of what drives clients – is the most effective way to help them put wealth to work.

We blend a highly attentive client service model with a deeply analytical financial approach.
 
• Cookie-cutter strategies and service are not in a client’s best interest. Utilizing our team members’ distinct strengths, we listen to what clients say about money and their motivations. From there, we can minimize risk while optimizing opportunity through “ground-up” strategies we review and adjust as circumstances change. 

• Our consistency, transparency, and integrity characterize the relationships we enjoy with clients. We deliver conflict-free advice and guidance however each client prefers – in person, by phone, or with the firm’s state-of-art technology – to educate clients and connect with them in meaningful ways. 

We feel good seeing clients take steady steps toward their goals. For some, it’s a well-deserved retirement where “their house” is in order. For others, it’s having the financial independence and confidence to launch a new venture, visit old friends around the world, or share their resources with those less fortunate.

At The SEAM Wealth Management Group, we assist accomplished men and women who, in the vast majority of cases, hope to accomplish more.

Clients include financial and other corporate executives, private business owners, attorneys, physicians, retired couples, widows, and generations of their families, from coast to coast. Despite their success, some wrestle with the right balance – for enjoying wealth, leaving a legacy, funding a grandchild’s education, for example, or supporting a worthy cause.

By introducing clients to our culture of teamwork and respect, we find that relationships extend to their referred friends, colleagues, and family members. It’s gratifying when clients ask us to meet their children whom we encourage to expand their knowledge of financial issues. Working one-on-one with multiple generations is a powerful way to help clients pass along values, along with their wealth.

Today, most clients ask that we manage their investments. Still, we prefer that they understand what they own, and why. Many are financially astute yet have aspects of their financial picture that have been neglected. We are dedicated to earning the trust that clients place in us – often, by providing more acumen and attention than they’ve experienced previously.
