At The TyreeWilliamsYeePowelson&SwartzGroup, we have a proud tradition of caring about the clients we serve – in Ohio and 15 other states. As seasoned and sensitive advisors, we also look beyond investments at who clients are as people, their proudest achievements, greatest concerns, and what they’d like to see five and ten years down the road.

Like most of our clients, we’re quite realistic. Many are “nearly and already retired” business owners and corporate executives. We believe they deserve to enjoy the best lifestyles possible and for us to help account for Social Security and Medicare, anticipated health care costs, and other factors. 

Why do clients come to us? Often, a previous advisor may not have “heard” what they were saying, couldn’t solve an important issue, or a client felt an advisor was too formal and never really knew them. Frankly, we do our best work for “happy” clients that can appreciate our insights, decades of experience, and most of all, our integrity. We enjoy helping clients in areas that may have little to do with “dollars and cents” – whether it’s helping an elderly client book a flight online, or helping a client’s daughter get cash out of town.

Ours is a holistic, goals-based approach to wealth management – one that helps clients identify and prioritize what’s most important. We not only ask questions of clients, but questions of ourselves: Are we helping clients manage their income and balance sheets, as well as minimize tax consequences? Are we looking at a client’s situation from multiple perspectives? Are we being fully accountable to clients and their families? These questions remind us to work diligently on each client’s behalf, as if he or she were only one.

Above all, we want clients to sleep well at night. And we want to sleep well, too – knowing we’ve done everything possible, to help structure a client’s wealth – so that positive outcomes can result in the short-term and for decades to come.

As examples, we can analyze the cost-basis of a portfolio you might inherit, make sure your wills and other documents are updated, and create a detailed budget that helps you follow a more disciplined path toward financial certainty.

• Be mindful of your comfort and previous experience with wealth. You may be one of many “millionaires next door” we serve – people who’ve saved and lived rather frugally with an eye toward a fulfilling retirement, or simply, not out-living your money. We may be able to show you that spending more than you ever anticipated can still keep you on the right course – whether you’d like to travel more frequently or indulge in that trip of a lifetime (perhaps with your extended family).

• Call you when there’s something you need to hear, or we need to know – not when the calendar tells us to.
