• Listen carefully to clients individually, in family meetings, at curated client gatherings, and in focus groups with outside moderators. On these occasions, we want to understand what we are doing well and where we can improve.

• Show clients how intergenerational wealth strategies can help lead to desired lifestyles and legacies.

• Assist business owners and executives with the design and management of their executive compensation plans and corporate retirement plans. Our commitment extends to their employees through our team’s financial wellness and employee education resources.

• Demonstrate that “going the extra mile is never going out of our way.” We have accompanied clients to local Social Security offices and on tours of assisted living facilities. We have sat with clients in hospital rooms and at funerals. On a regular basis, we host meetings in our office with clients, their CPAs and attorneys to align tax-minimization and estate planning strategies.

• Align our tax minimization and estate planning strategies with those of your CPA and attorney, or a professional we can recommend. When beneficial, we can also call upon our firm’s trust professionals to offer assistance.

• Create and present customized financial strategies that can help provide for you and the people most important to you. As an example, corporate retirement plans have many features and options available. We help ensure that business owners, corporate executives, and company employees have plans to help support their financial futures and maximize tax deferral for the owners. Once implemented, we educate participants on saving and planning for retirement, while also providing access to numerous financial wellness resources available through Bank of America.

When helpful, we also conduct family meetings to discuss matters of estate planning, business succession, or the support of a special needs child or elderly parent. Determined to function as “life advisors,” we genuinely care about clients’ financial, physical and emotional well-being. When needed, we have introduced them to doctors and counselors, as well as tax and legal professionals we’ve known for years.

From our offices in Ohio and Michigan, we serve clients in more than 45 states. Location and distance are not issues for us.
