Partnering with his team of specialists, he can assist clients in every aspect of their financial lives and is their first point of contact. Corey began his financial services career in 2011 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2013.
Corey is a specially qualified Senior Portfolio Advisor who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can draw from his experience to help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of Merrill Lynch model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm's Investment Advisory Program, a Senior Portfolio Advisor may manage those strategies on a discretionary basis.
In addition to the Senior Portfolio Advisor qualification, he is also a designated CPFA. The Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) credential demonstrates an advisor’s knowledge, proficiency, and commitment to working with retirement plans. Plan advisors who earn their CPFA demonstrate the acumen required to act as a plan fiduciary or help plan fiduciaries manage their roles and responsibilities. To earn the CPFA Credential candidates must pass the CPFA examination.
Corey also holds the CRPC® designation and has completed a course of study encompassing pre-and post-retirement needs, asset management, estate planning and the entire retirement planning process using models and techniques from real client situations. Additionally, individuals who have earned the CRPC® designation must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.
