Profile

With a forward looking approach, the Galardi Group addresses the diverse financial requirements of individuals, families and entities in the Philadelphia area, throughout Pennsylvania, the Midwest, and along the East and West Coasts.

The clients they serve include – Fortune 500 executives, physicians, dentists, attorneys, accountants, entrepreneurs, retirees, widows, divorcees, couples in their first or second marriage, endowments and charitable organizations, and those who through their efforts –achieved the American Dream.

The Galardi Group can help assess any number of specific interests related to: growth of capital and income, concentrated stock accumulation, risk tolerance, diversification, tax efficient and socially responsible investments, asset preservation, retirement income planning, healthcare concerns, and wealth transfer.

With insight on how individuals think and feel about investing, Ryan adds, “One size doesn’t fit all. Our process comes from knowing our clients well, and the risks they may face at their stage of life. We know that sorting through today’s information exchange and conflicting opinions –often overwhelms and confuses people. Without reliable research and capabilities, people can become indecisive or make any of several common mistakes related to their financial life. One can go anywhere and let their assets sit idle, or invested too broadly absorbing risk -thinking it’s the solution,” he explains. “Reassurance during market volatility, knowing the purpose of your investments, and a having a disciplined strategy that accounts for your goals and how quickly the world is changing –is essential.”

The Galardi Group has evolved with both the markets -and the varying needs of today’s multigenerational investors. While stock and bonds indices can be useful tools in evaluating portfolio progress, the team’s customized and collaborative approach goes beyond just performance data.  “Understanding where someone came from, where they are now, and where they want to go is the key to identifying and prioritizing what is most important to a person. Our team has the greatest respect for this opportunity," Ryan explains.

With access to a global network of specialists and research capabilities within the firm, the team can also help clients and families as they fund educational needs, finance a first or second home, finance recreational air or watercraft, evaluate insurance needs, or prepare for one's responsibility concerning aging parents and family members with special needs.

Merrill Lynch

Where do we begin? It starts with you.

At Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, your financial advisor focuses on the things you care about most- family, goals and priorities - even as they change over the years.

Understanding Your Life

Welcome

As a Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Advisor, I offer advice based on your goals and priorities– for yourself, your family, and your business. Our goals-based wealth management approach places the investor at the center of our focus, not the market. I can help you understand the pros and cons of every decision and maintain discipline so you can pursue your goals. As your needs or market conditions change, I will continue to work with you to agree upon adjustments to your investment approach.

Philosophy

We live in a world that's constantly changing. Markets can fluctuate frequently. Potential investment opportunities can arise daily. Regulations are amended. That's why I believe that you and your situation are the best starting points from which to help plan your financial future: where you are today, where you want to be tomorrow, and what you want to accomplish along the way. Because by understanding you and your priorities, I can more effectively offer my experience and resources and help you build a financial framework that is rooted in the unique complexities of your life.

Approach

No two investment approaches are alike because no two investors are alike. I'll examine several components — your life priorities, investment personality and financial situation — and work together to help you create a customized, actionable approach with personalized advice and measurable goals. I'll help you track progress to your goals and work with you to adjust your investment approach over time, as needed.

Capabilities

Using the broad investing resources of Merrill, I can also assist with potential solutions for income management, education funding, retirement income planning, and guidance for executives with concentrated stock positions, traditional and alternative investments, wealth transfer and estate planning services. And with your permission we can also work closely with your other professionals, such as attorneys, accountants and specialists, to help you pursue your goals.

Focus On Individuals and Families

I can offer advice and guidance designed to assist you in making investment-related decisions and trade-offs that can help you reach personally meaningful goals.  So whether you’re planning your retirement, saving to buy a home or fund a child’s education, I’ll start by getting to know you and how you feel about the following seven life priorities.:

  • Health: Managing healthcare expenses, now and in the future
  • Home: Upsizing, downsizing, remodeling or buying a vacation home
  • Family: Taking care of your family and other people in your life
  • Leisure: Spending your free time in meaningful ways
  • Giving: Volunteering, mentoring others and giving to charities
  • Work: Working in retirement, selling or starting a business
  • Finance: Bringing it all together and defining your financial goals

Your approach to investing

Drawing upon research in the field of behavioral finance, Merrill developed the Investment Personality Assessment to help us get to know you better as an investor and potentially help you refine your own investing preferences. By gaining a deeper understanding of how you think and feel about investing through this assessment, we can customize the financial approach we develop together to help you pursue what matters most to you. Our Investment Personality Assessment is one of the ways to help us get to know you - to understand your goals and priorities. These questions will give you a sense of the full assessment and help us provide you with additional insights and resources.
