Curt  brings deep experience and a highly personalized wealth management approach to a select number of affluent clients in 12 states. Among them are time-strapped entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate executives, medical professionals (and their practices), wealthy families,  current retirees  and investors preparing for retirement .

To help move clients toward retirement years they envision and minimize risk in getting there, Curt favors income-producing investments that are diversified across asset classes, industries and borders – and actively managed by Merrill Lynch portfolio analysts. Curt’s integrated financial strategies also embrace a broad array of client considerations to allow for asset accumulation, cash flow and tax minimization. “When it serves clients’ best interests, I connect them with Bank of America for securities-based or residential and commercial lending. Managing both sides of clients’ balance sheets are critical to robust financial pictures.”

On behalf of business owners, Curt builds multi-pronged strategies that account for personal investments, wealth transfer and business succession. In many cases, he also designs and helps manage business retirement plans – educating and enrolling employees, meeting frequently with plan trustees and helping ensure compliance with government regulations.|Unlike many financial advisors, Curt has long encouraged clients’ physical health, in addition to their financial stability. “I enjoy talking to clients about healthy eating, staying fit, and hold events specifically for that purpose. I want clients to live long, prosperous and rewarding lives up to and through retirement. It feels good to provide ‘wealth and health’ discipline.”

In 1990, Curt launched his financial services career at Smith Barney. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2008, along with a vast majority of the clients he served. Curt is a specially qualified Senior Portfolio Advisor who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can draw from his experience to help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of Merrill Lynch model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm’s Investment Advisory Program, a Senior Portfolio Advisor may manage those strategies on a discretionary basis. Curt holds the Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®) designation.

A resident of the Main Line since 1992, Curt is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania and serves as an active volunteer at Safe Harbor Homeless Shelter. Curt has also been active in youth sports in Tredyfrin Easttown – having served as a board member of The YMCA of the Upper Main Line and Conestoga Youth Lacrosse, in addition to coaching soccer and wrestling. High energy in the office and out, Curt is an avid CrossFitter, runner and outdoor sports participant who shares his interest in a healthy lifestyle with clients and friends. He has trained for and completed seven marathons and climbed four of Colorado’s mountains (over 14,000 feet). To “relax,” Curt plays paddle tennis and golf at Overbrook Golf Club. Curt enjoys shooting trap at West Chester Gun Club as well. He and his wife, Kerry, live in Wayne with their three children.
