It is typical practice in our industry for clients to be served by two people, a financial advisor and a client associate. Not at VMT. We use an integrated, "teamed" approach, with three professionals serving each client. Several years ago, we realized that adding a third person would streamline communications.
The VMT way is to serve clients with a financial advisor, a relationship manager and at least one administrative associate.
You will work closely and intensively with your financial advisor as you develop a personal, customized wealth management strategy. Your relationship manager is there to reach out to you, to hear your questions and concerns, while our client associates stand ready to help you with all of your administrative needs.
Sophisticated institutional investors, such as foundations and endowments funds, revolutionized investing about 40 years ago. They were the first to extend the boundaries of investing beyond domestic stocks, domestic bonds and cash to a broader set of global asset classes. They were early adopters of structuring portfolios by carefully weighing the expected return against acceptable levels of risk.
It is this type of thinking and institutional approach that we bring to our individual and family clients. And we apply the same disciplined approach and thought process to each client, regardless of the size of their portfolio. It is the VMT signature.
You can delegate to Nestor Vicknair investment management responsibilities for your portfolios, meaning he has discretion over certain investment decisions surrounding your investment strategy. Once Nestor has confirmed your goals and life priorities, as well as identified your portfolio investment objective, time horizon, risk factor and liquidity needs, he will recommend targeted asset allocations for your portfolios to help meet your specific investment objectives. Granting him authority allows him to respond to market changes, price volatility and global events with the ability to make adjustments, if needed, to help your portfolio stay on track to meet your goals.
To help you track and assess performance, we will regularly review your portfolio with you and you will receive periodic communications including monthly statements, quarterly portfolio summary updates and annual performance reports.
