Gary has been actively advising individuals, families, and non-profits since 1984 in the Pacific Northwest. He began as a Financial Advisor in 1984 with Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley and joined Bank of America in 2004. He has 36 years of working with clients and helping them achieve their financial potential. His focus is on developing customized wealth management strategies that can be tax efficient for Individuals, Families, and Non-profits.

Gary's approach to wealth management is consultative, objective and committed to the client's satisfaction. First, he takes the time to listen to, and review client financial situations, preferences and goals. Second, he then offers customized time tested recommendations for asset allocations designed to accurately reflect each client’s income needs, growth expectations and risk tolerance. And third, he follows up with discussions covering a wide range of financial tools, including targeted investment management, concentrated position management, optimization of retirement income, and estate planning services, where appropriate.

Ryan Wheatley, Senior Financial Advisor, has been with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since October of 2015. He is committed to understanding the needs and goals of high net worth individuals, families and their businesses in order to create customized investment portfolios that properly address the goals of clients. Ryan focuses on carrying out his daily work with discipline, honesty, and maintains the highest level of integrity in everything he does.
Ryan provides access to the many investment benefits Merrill can provide in order to solve whatever financial concerns a client may have. With the help of his team, a team with 41 years in the investment industry, he works closely with his clients to address prospective strategies to their asset allocation, retirement planning, family planning, education funding, tax minimization strategies, and crafts a strategy designed to help clients meet their financial goals.
He emphasizes the need to gain a holistic understanding of clients to better anticipate, respond, and act upon their needs. The investment services include equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds and other types of investments. Ryan can also provide access to lending, banking, and credit from Bank of America, N.A., member FDIC and a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of America Corp. As of September of 2018, he also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® certification.
After graduating from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Finance, Ryan returned home to Bellevue where he was born and raised. In addition to being an avid soccer and basketball player, Ryan enjoys playing golf, snow skiing, and attending live music events.
